Improving our environmental performance is a vital part of our business strategy and all of our employees have a responsibility to ensure that the aims of our policy are met.

 

Our policy aims include:

• Complying with all relevant regulatory requirements in the office furniture industry.
• Improving and monitoring the environmental purpose of our desks.
• Improving and reducing the environmental impacts of all aspects of the company.
• Thinking about environmental factors in all of our business decisions.
• Raising employees’ awareness of environmental factors and provide training.

We also try our best to reduce our use and consumption of paper, water and energy as well as recycle everything that we can. As a company, we are also trying our best to promote the use of healthier modes of transport and eco-friendly office and cleaning supplies amongst.

Our Wooden Desktops

FRISKA desktops are made with wood sourced from sustainable forestry and are FSC certified for sustainability. The trees are cut using the latest sawing technologies and the desktops are produced via processes that actively seek to improve environmental performance by using internationally certified energy and environmental management systems.

Our desktop finishes are produced in plants that recycle waste wood and convert heat into green electricity. Conserving natural resources and declaring their environmental impact in readily available reports are core values of our wood suppliers. This is why we trust the sustainability of our desktops and are proud to use them to for our height adjustable desks.

We Plant Trees

Every time someone buys a FRISKA desk, we help plant a tree with Ecologi. Ecologi advocate for collective climate action from businesses and consumers. Our own environmental goals very much align with this mission.

So far, our FRISKA family have managed to plant over 16,000 trees.

We are also keen to use local materials and labour wherever we can in order to reduce our CO2 emissions and give back to the community.
