The Ystad is an ergonomic mesh task chair for people who sit and work for most of the day, and the perfect partner for a FRISKA standing desk. There are no tension knobs to fiddle with: its synchronised mechanism senses your body weight and sets the recline resistance automatically. As you lean back, the seat and backrest move together in proportion, so your feet stay planted and your posture stays open.

Breathable back, supportive lower spine

The black mesh backrest lets air move freely, keeping you cool through long sessions, while adjustable lumbar support with 80mm of travel sits exactly where your lower back needs it.

Fits you, not the average person

A sliding seat adjusts the depth from 465 to 525mm, giving shorter and taller users proper thigh support. The Class 4 gas lift gives a 460–590mm seat height range, and the 3D armrests move up and down, forwards and back, and pivot inwards to keep your shoulders relaxed whether you're typing or on a call.

Comfort that lasts

The moulded foam seat keeps its shape far longer than cut foam and is upholstered in a hard-wearing fabric made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester. Soft-tread 65mm castors glide quietly and are kind to hard floors.
